Compliance Charter
The RC Private Counsel Platform operates within the strictest global standards. This charter explains how we combine anonymity with regulatory accountability.
Regulatory pillars that shape every engagement
We map each matter to the applicable regulations, then enforce controls through policy, technology, and audited partners.
Global regulatory matrix
- GDPR / FADP / PDPA for privacy and data residency of UHNW matter files.
- MiCA, MAS PS Act, FCA cryptoasset regime, and FINMA DLT framework for token issuance and custody.
- FATF Travel Rule alignment with anonymised DID attestations and sealed disclosures.
RCCoin governance controls
- ERC-20 contract deployed with multi-signature treasury and quarterly attestations.
- Usage limited to service retainers, milestone releases, and investment rights disclosed in membership contracts.
- On-chain analytics limited to balance thresholds; no wallet deanonymisation unless legally compelled.
Audit & assurance cadence
- Annual third-party privacy and smart contract audits; summaries shared with Private Counsel members.
- Continuous monitoring via Datadog with anonymised service metrics and incident runbooks.
- Evidence vaults notarised through IPFS hashes and timestamped affidavits for regulator review.
What regulators, partners, and members can expect
Every obligation below is monitored via policy reviews, automation, and counsel oversight.
Incident response windows
Material privacy or security incidents notified to clients within 30 minutes (Private Counsel) or 12 hours (Explorer/Member). Regulator notifications follow MAS/FCA/FINMA templates agreed in SOWs.
Disclosure boundaries
No personal identifiers are shared with regulators without explicit client instruction. DID proofs and zero-knowledge attestations satisfy eligibility while preserving anonymity.
Data retention & deletion
Operational telemetry retained 90 days. Matter evidence held 7 years in sovereign data centres unless you request earlier destruction compatible with legal holds.
Sanctions & AML
We screen counterparties via sanctioned lists (UN, OFAC, EU). Any positive match triggers immediate escalation and suspension of RCCoin transfers pending legal review.
Continuous improvement cadence
The Compliance Charter is reviewed quarterly by the Service Governance Board. Updates are versioned in our sealed policy repository and announced to active members. Request a signed copy or regulator briefing via compliance@rcprivatecounsel.com.
